Ian Dietrich is an experienced officer of the Garrison Regiment entrusted with defending Trost District during the Defense of Trost. Calm under pressure and respected by the soldiers around him, he focuses on carrying out dangerous orders with discipline, placing the success of the mission and the lives of his comrades above his own safety.
Final Stand at Trost
During the Defense of Trost, Ian Dietrich gives his life holding the line long enough for the operation to continue. Surrounded by Titans and with no safe path left, he stays focused on the mission rather than his own survival, dying as a soldier whose final actions help protect the fragile chance of retaking Trost District.
