Nanaba is a seasoned member of the Scout Regiment whose composure and discipline make her a dependable presence during dangerous operations. Calm under pressure and quick to assess changing situations, she works alongside veterans such as Mike Zacharias to protect humanity against the relentless threat of the Pure Titans.
Escorts Cadets to Castle Utgard
During the confusion caused by the Wall Rose invasion, Nanaba leads the western search group alongside Ymir and Krista Lenz. After reuniting with the other soldiers and cadets, she escorts them to Castle Utgard to regroup and prepare for the coming battle.
Falls During the Assault on Castle Utgard
During the assault on Castle Utgard, Nanaba repeatedly throws herself into the fight against the attacking Pure Titans, protecting the young cadets despite her dwindling strength. She refuses to retreat while others remain in danger, and the Titans overwhelm and kill her before the battle ends.
