Profile
Roderich is a gaunt figure in the robes of the Order of the Walls who moves between the Wall cult and the halls of power, and who sits in King Fritz's assembly claiming to speak for the people while protecting only himself.
A Seat in the King's Assembly
Roderich is revealed as one of the nobles of the audience held before King Fritz, uneasy alongside the others at Rod Reiss's proposal to hand out food rations to the citizens of the Walls.
Impatient with Erwin's Silence
Roderich complains that nothing about the whereabouts of Eren and Historia has been wrung out of Erwin, and that freezing the Survey Corps may have been for nothing — until Rod Reiss's message reaches the chamber.
Shuts the Refugees Out
Told that Wall Rose has fallen, Roderich votes with the assembly to bar every refugee from Wall Sina and shudders at the thought of them inside — the same man who claimed to act for the people. Moments later Darius Zackly and Dot Pixis reveal the report was staged to measure exactly that.
Imprisoned Under the New Queen
Once Rod Reiss is dead and Historia takes the throne, Roderich is left in a cell, his robes no longer worth anything to anyone.
