The Serum in the Woods
On the day Shiganshina fell, Grisha Yeager led his son into the woods outside the district, injected him with a Titan serum and let the transformed boy devour him. Eren walked away carrying his father's Attack Titan and the Founding Titan that Grisha had torn from Frieda Reiss, and remembered none of it — only a basement key and a duty nobody had explained to him.
Revealed by S1·E4
Cadet Resolve
Eren Yeager enlisted in the 104th Cadet Corps with the same vow that had driven him since Shiganshina. His blunt conviction quickly clashed with Jean Kirstein's desire for a safer life inside the walls, forming an open rivalry between them. After enduring training under Keith Shadis, Eren graduated among the top ten cadets and declared his intent to join the Survey Corps, choosing the path that would carry him beyond the walls and toward the Titans.
Revealed by S1·E5
Devoured at Trost
During the Defense of Trost, Eren Yeager saw his squad fall as the Titans overran the streets. After a Titan bit off his leg, he still moved to save Armin Arlert at the last instant. Remembering their promise to see the outside world together, he threw Armin clear and was devoured in his place.
Revealed by S1·E8
From Within the Titan

Revealed by S1·E9
Shield Against the Cannon
After witnesses saw Eren Yeager emerge from the body of a Titan, fear spread among the soldiers stationed in Trost District. When Kitz Weilman ordered a cannon fired at him, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert, Eren bit his own hand and transformed at the last instant, raising a Titan body to shield them from the blast.
Revealed by S1·E13
Sealing Trost's Gate
Working alongside Armin Arlert and under the command of Dot Pixis, Eren Yeager carried out a plan to reclaim Trost District. After transforming into the Attack Titan, he lifted the massive boulder and sealed the breached gate, allowing the soldiers to turn the battle in humanity's favor.
Revealed by S1·E14
Eren's Trial
Following the battle at Trost District, Eren Yeager stood before a military tribunal to determine his fate. As arguments over the danger and value of his Titan power divided the assembled officers, Levi demonstrated that he could restrain Eren if necessary. The hearing ended with Eren being placed under the Survey Corps's custody for future operations against the Titans.
Revealed by S1·E15
Joining Levi Squad
After Eren's Trial, Eren Yeager was placed under the direct supervision of Levi and his elite soldiers. Taken to the Old Headquarters, he began living under strict observation as the Survey Corps prepared to test how his Titan power could be used in the fight against the Titans.
Revealed by S1·E17
57th Expedition Outside the Walls
Eren Yeager took part in his first mission beyond the walls as a member of the Survey Corps during the 57th Expedition Outside the Walls. Under the protection of Levi and his squad, he advanced with the goal of reaching Shiganshina District and uncovering what remained hidden in his former home.
Revealed by S1·E19
Encounter with the Female Titan
During the 57th Expedition Outside the Walls, Eren Yeager became the target of the Female Titan while riding with Levi and his squad. Torn between transforming into the Attack Titan and fighting on his own or trusting his comrades, he chose to follow their orders. His decision allowed the Survey Corps's plan to unfold as they attempted to capture the Female Titan alive.
Revealed by S1·E21
Loss of Levi Squad
After the capture attempt failed during the 57th Expedition Outside the Walls, Eren Yeager followed his squad's orders and continued forward while they faced the Female Titan. When Petra Ral, Oluo Bozado, Eld Gin, and Gunther Schultz were killed, Eren was overwhelmed by rage and regret. Abandoning his escape, he transformed into the Attack Titan to confront the Female Titan himself.
Revealed by S1·E22
Defeat by the Female Titan
During the final moments of the 57th Expedition Outside the Walls, Eren Yeager was defeated by the Female Titan and taken away before Levi and Mikasa Ackerman rescued him. Revealed by S1·E24
Trap at Stohess
After the events of the 57th Expedition Outside the Walls, Eren Yeager was ordered to travel to Stohess District as the Military Police prepared to take custody of him. Revealed by S1·E25
Battle Against the Female Titan
During the Assault on Stohess, Eren Yeager struggled to accept that Annie Leonhart was the Female Titan. Driven by anger, he fought fiercely against Annie, but stopped at the final moment when faced with the person behind the enemy he was trying to defeat.
Revealed by S2·E3
Wall Rose Emergency Response
After learning of the reported breach in Wall Rose and the appearance of Titans inside human territory, Eren joined the Survey Corps' emergency response. During the operation, Hange Zoë proposed investigating whether Eren's Titan power could harden its body, hoping that ability might one day help seal the breach in Wall Maria. The idea gave Eren a new objective alongside the urgent mission to locate the source of the crisis.
Revealed by S2·E6
Reiner and Bertholdt's Confession
While regrouping after the fighting, Eren was stunned when Reiner Braun calmly claimed that he and Bertholdt Hoover were the Armored Titan and the Colossal Titan. At first unable to believe the words of two comrades he had trusted, Eren was forced to confront the shocking truth as the situation around them erupted into chaos.
Revealed by S2·E7
Battle with the Armored Titan
After Reiner Braun attacked, Eren transformed into the Attack Titan and fought the Armored Titan. Remembering the hand-to-hand combat techniques taught during cadet training, he used throws and joint locks to gain the upper hand despite his opponent's overwhelming resilience. The battle ended when the Colossal Titan intervened, allowing Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover to capture Eren and carry him away.
Revealed by S2·E9
Confrontation in the Forest of Giant Trees
Eren awoke in the Forest of Giant Trees beside Ymir, Reiner Braun, and Bertholdt Hoover after being taken prisoner. Rejecting every attempt to persuade him, he demanded to know why they had destroyed Shiganshina District and refused to cooperate with the comrades who had betrayed his trust.
Revealed by S2·E11
Attempted Rescue During the Pursuit
As the Survey Corps closed in on his captors, Eren seized an opportunity to break free. Armin Arlert distracted Bertholdt Hoover with a calculated provocation, creating an opening that allowed Eren to momentarily escape his restraints. Although the rescue was only partially successful, the effort disrupted Reiner and Bertholdt's retreat and renewed the Survey Corps' chance to recover him.
Revealed by S2·E12
Hannes' Last Stand
During the desperate retreat, the Smiling Titan appeared once again before Eren. As Hannes stepped in to protect him and Mikasa Ackerman, Eren desperately tried to transform into the Attack Titan, but failed. Forced to watch helplessly, he witnessed Hannes fall to the very Titan that had once killed his mother, reopening the deepest wound of his past.
Revealed by S2·E12
Awakens the Coordinate
After striking the Smiling Titan, Eren unexpectedly awakened a mysterious power. At his command, nearby Pure Titans turned on the Smiling Titan before attacking Reiner Braun as well. Acting purely on instinct, Eren used this newfound ability to protect Mikasa Ackerman and create the opportunity for the Survey Corps to withdraw.
Revealed by S3·E1
The Hardening That Would Not Come
Before the Interior government came for him, Eren spent his days transforming for Hange Zoë's experiments, trying to harden his Titan flesh enough to seal the breach in Wall Maria. Each attempt produced only shapeless lumps while Hange recorded every failure and the plan to retake the Walls waited. Eren began to suspect that the power he carried had never truly been his.
Revealed by S3·E1
Seized and Chained
Kept hidden from the Interior government alongside Historia Reiss, Eren was caught in the ambush of Kenny's Anti-Personnel Control Squad and carried away before the regiment could regroup. He woke chained hand and foot in a place he did not recognise, with no way to transform and no explanation for why a girl from his own cadet class had been taken with him.
Revealed by S3·E6
The Crime That Made Him
Chained beneath the Reiss Chapel, Eren heard Rod Reiss recount the Walls' true history in the Blood of Kings. The Founding Titan had belonged to the royal bloodline until Grisha Yeager entered the chapel, killed Frieda and her family, and passed the stolen power to his son. Everything Eren had fought for now rested on his father's theft and massacre, crushing what remained of his confidence.
Revealed by S3·E7
Alive Because Historia Refused
Rod's plan required Historia to devour him and return the Founding Titan to the Reiss line, and Eren, convinced by then that he had never achieved anything with his own strength, offered little argument against it. He survived because Historia refused and sent the serum flying from her father's hands, and because his comrades fought their way down into the cavern to reach him.
Revealed by S3·E7
The First Hardening
When Rod Reiss licked up the spilled serum, the cavern beneath the Reiss Chapel collapsed over the soldiers who had come to save Eren. He transformed and covered them with his Titan's body. The ability that had failed throughout Hange's experiments finally answered: his flesh hardened into a shell that held back rock and heat until Mikasa, Levi, Historia and the others escaped. It came not on command, but when his friends were about to die beneath him.
Revealed by S3·E8
Explosives in the Weak Point
At the Battle of Orvud District, Eren used hardening on command. He sealed the regiment's gunpowder barrels inside a shell of hardened flesh, carried the charge along the wall and drove it into the mouth of Rod Reiss's Titan. The blast tore the giant open and exposed its weak point for Historia to finish. This time, the ability on which the regiment had staked everything answered exactly as Eren needed.
Revealed by S3·E11
Setting Out for the Basement
With Historia crowned and the old government gone, the regiment rode out toward Shiganshina District through streets that cheered it for the first time. For Eren the operation meant one thing above the wall and the Titans waiting there: the basement of his ruined home, and whatever Grisha had locked inside it.
Revealed by S3·E13
Seals Shiganshina's Outer Gate
Eren reaches Shiganshina District under cover of darkness and transforms beside its ruined outer gate. Using the hardening he once could not produce, he seals the breach in Wall Maria before the hidden Warriors can stop him, completing the first half of the operation without a single casualty.
Revealed by S3·E17
The Decoy on the Wall
Armin's final plan asks Eren to leave a hardened Titan shell clinging to the wall while he slips out and circles behind Bertholdt. As the Colossal Titan spends its body burning Armin, Eren reaches its nape unseen, cuts Bertholdt free and catches the man who destroyed his home.
Revealed by S3·E18
Fights for Armin
With both Armin and Erwin Smith dying, Eren refuses Levi's decision to use the last Titan serum on the commander. He restrains Mikasa and argues that Armin's imagination—not only his own strength—has saved humanity again and again, staking his closest friend's life against the future embodied by Erwin.
Revealed by S3·E19
The Photograph
In the basement beneath his ruined home, Eren finds Grisha's books and a photograph of the family his father had before coming to the Walls. The image proves that humanity survives beyond the sea and turns the basement key from a promise of answers into evidence of an entire hidden world.
Revealed by S3·E21
Inherits His Father's World
Through Grisha's books and inherited memories, Eren witnesses his father's childhood in Marley, the Restorationists' defeat and Eren Kruger passing on the Attack Titan. He learns that his people are Eldians, that the Nine Titans live only thirteen years after inheritance, and that his father's mission has become his own.
Revealed by S3·E22
Keeps Historia's Blood Secret
Eren realizes that he used the Founding Titan only after touching the Smiling Titan, who carried royal blood. During the military's review of the basement records, he withholds that conclusion because revealing it could make Historia a weapon or a test subject, choosing her safety over an answer the army desperately wants.
Revealed by S3·E22
The Enemy across the Ocean
At the ocean Armin dreamed of, Eren does not celebrate with the others. Looking past the water toward Marley, he asks whether killing every enemy on the far shore will finally make them free, ending the journey to the sea with a new boundary already fixed in his mind.
Revealed by S4·E28
The Night He Let Her Believe Him
During a banquet Yelena has the guard on his door swapped and comes down alone to lay out Zeke's euthanasia plan: royal blood and the Founder in one room, and not one more Subject of Ymir ever born. He hears her out and tells her he agrees. He has already decided on something else entirely, and he lets her leave certain she has won him. The guard she picked was Floch.
Revealed by S4·E28
He Left Them on the Continent
The first time the Survey Corps stands on the continent it is a diplomatic trip, and there is an afternoon of ice cream in the sun before the hearing. Eren does not come back from it. He tells them he intends to follow his brother's plan, walks off alone into a country that would execute him on sight, and nothing anybody says works. Nobody ever finds the place where it could have been stopped.
Revealed by S4·E29
He Apologised and Did It Anyway
On the delegation's last day in Marley, a boy from the refugee camp picks his pocket, and he drives off the merchants who catch the child and carries him home. Then he kneels in front of someone who cannot understand a word of it and cries. Saving the island was never the whole truth: when he learned people had survived, he was disappointed. He apologises for what he is about to do to them, and does it anyway.
Revealed by S4·E4
Four Years and a Cellar in Liberio
He crosses the sea alone, cuts off his own leg to pass as a wounded veteran, and lives inside Marley's internment zone for months under the name Kruger — being brought the enemy's news by a child who thinks he is being kind. The war he starts is planned from a hospital bed in the middle of the country he intends to destroy.
Revealed by S4·E15
The Agreement He Never Meant
In a hospital in Marley, months before the festival, his brother comes to him with the euthanasia plan: Zeke's way of ending the Titans without another massacre. Eren tells him that never being born is the only release, and they seal it with Xaver's baseball instead of a handshake. Zeke leaves believing he has finally found his brother. Eren has agreed to a plan he intends to break.
Revealed by S4·E4
We Are the Same
The first person he wants in front of him is Reiner Braun. He has the boy who broke his gate brought down to a cellar, and what he says is not an accusation: they are the same, both of them children who did what they were told and could not stop. Then he goes up through the floor of a festival.
Revealed by S4·E5
The War He Started Himself
Willy Tybur stands in front of every nation on earth and declares war on Paradis, and the answer comes up through the floor of his own stage. The transformation alone takes the platform, the front rows and most of Marley's high command. Eren catches the man's broken body out of the air, over the audience he had gathered on purpose, and eats what is left of him.
Revealed by S4·E7
The Crystal and the Jaws
Beheaded and impaled by a Titan that manufactures its own weapons, he works out that the holder is not in the nape at all but crystallised under the ruins — and that nothing in Liberio can break that shell except the Jaw Titan's teeth. So he cripples Galliard, wedges Lara Tybur into his mouth and forces the jaws shut. He leaves the continent that afternoon carrying the War Hammer.
Revealed by S4·E10
He Laughed When They Told Him
The raid he took the regiment into costs it Sasha Blouse, and when the news reaches him he laughs. Connie spends days trying to find out what part of it was funny and nobody can tell him. It is the first thing Eren does that the people who grew up with him cannot explain away, and he offers them no explanation.
Revealed by S4·E23
The Truth He Told One Man
Floch says Eren took him aside ten months before the Rumbling and disclosed the plan: pretend to follow Zeke, gain full use of the Founder and attack every land beyond Paradis. Floch accepted and began recruiting supporters inside the military, forming the Yeagerists.
Revealed by S4·E12
The Cell Was a Courtesy
Arrested and put underground behind stone, he tells his own commander to her face that the cell is a formality: since he took the War Hammer he has been able to open a way out through rock whenever he likes. He proves it the night Zackly dies, and seals the hole behind him so nobody can follow.
Revealed by S4·E14
He Chose Every Word
At a table in Shiganshina he tells Mikasa that Ackerman blood made him her host and that he has always hated her, and calls Armin weak while beating him. The scene gives Mikasa and Armin no way to know whether he believes either claim. It ends with both of them pushed away.
Revealed by S4·E16
The Signal He Had a Child Send
With the island already his, he goes down to Gabi's cell carrying the only lever he has: Falco is locked up with everyone else who drank, one scream away from being a Titan. Send Marley a distress signal, he tells her, and the boy will be saved. He has a prisoner call the enemy fleet down onto the district he is standing in.
Revealed by S4·E17
Half a Second from the Nape
Pieck walks into his headquarters in a stolen uniform, tells him she wants the Subjects of Ymir free exactly as much as he does, and offers to point out every Marleyan left on the island. Every word of it is true, and it is still the bait. She walks him up beside a roof, and Galliard comes out of it with the Jaw Titan's mouth already open, takes his legs and misses the nape by half a second.
Revealed by S4·E17
One Titan Against the Fleet
The fleet answers in full, and he meets it alone: the Jaw on him, the Armored behind it and a gun crew riding the Cart Titan along the Wall so that nothing on him ever knits shut. He never once reaches for the Founder — Magath has worked out why, and keeps his brother away from him. The cells in his own headquarters are opened so his friends can come and help. Nobody comes.
Revealed by S4·E19
He Ran the Last Stretch on Foot
Told that his brother is alive somewhere in the district, he stops fighting the battle altogether: he hardens around Reiner until the Armored Titan is a statue holding nothing, climbs out of his own nape and runs for Zeke on his own two legs, with Marley's army in front of him and not a gram of armour on him. Gabi takes his head off at the neck.
Revealed by S4·E20
He Pushed His Father Through the Door
The chapel massacre was never Grisha's decision. In the Paths, his son is standing behind him telling him to keep going, showing him a future he has already seen, and the hand that kills a family of children belongs to a man being steered by the boy he is about to hand the power to. Eren has been the author of his own origin the whole time.
Revealed by S4·E21
He Freed Her Instead of Commanding Her
Zeke holds royal blood and gives Ymir the order, and she obeys, because she has obeyed for two thousand years. Eren does the one thing nobody in that line has ever done: he talks to her. She is not a slave and not a god, she is a person, and she can decide. She hands him everything, and the Walls come down.
Revealed by S4·E21
Eighty Per Cent of the World
He speaks to every Subject of Ymir alive at once and tells them what he is doing, and then he does it: a wall of Colossal Titans walking off the island to flatten every country on earth. It is not a threat and it is not partial. By the time anybody reaches him, most of the world outside the sea is gone.
Revealed by S4·E29
The Only Way Left to Stop Him
He pulls the people chasing him out of an aircraft and into the Paths to tell them, without arguing and without asking to be understood, that the Rumbling continues until nothing is left standing outside the island. Armin cannot talk to him. Mikasa is standing three metres away. He says the rest himself: the only way to stop what is walking is to kill him.
Revealed by S4·E30
He Wanted the Ground Flat
In the Paths he finally gives Armin the reason, and it is not strategy or Eldia or the plan. He wanted the scenery in Armin's book: no people, no nations, nothing on the other side of the sea but open ground. He knew it was monstrous while he was doing it, he could not stop wanting it, and he says so.
Revealed by S4·E30
The Life He Showed Her
Inside the Paths he takes Mikasa out of the war and gives her the years they never had: a cabin, the two of them, the time he has left running quietly out. He cries with his head in her lap and answers none of the questions she asks him. It is the only place in the whole plan where he stops walking, and it lasts exactly as long as he can hold it.
Revealed by S4·E30
He Asked Her to Forget Him
At the end of it, Eren asks Mikasa to throw away the scarf and forget him when he dies. Elsewhere in the Paths he admits the opposite to Armin: he does not want her to love anyone else and wants to remain in her thoughts. Armin tells him never to say that to her. Mikasa returns to the battle carrying only the request he gave her.
Revealed by S4·E30
The Death He Had Already Seen
He dies the way he had already watched himself die: the nape blown apart by Jean, the last Colossal Titan going off inside his body, Mikasa coming into the Founder's mouth with a blade to cut his head free. Every Titan on earth stops in the same instant. None of it surprises him, and he walked the whole road to it anyway.
