   A gargantuan humanoid presence was recorded above the outer fortifications of Shiganshina District along Wall Maria. The entity delivered a single, forceful kick that demolished the outer gate, permitting numerous Pure Titans to enter the settlement. Its approach was marked by an explosive concussive blast and a rush of scalding steam that prevented close pursuit.

   Second Appearance at Trost

   The Colossal Titan appears again above the outer gate of Trost District, striking with the same overwhelming force once recorded at Shiganshina District. Its attack breaches the district's defenses and begins a new incursion by Pure Titans, while its release of scalding steam prevents immediate pursuit or capture.

   Bertholdt's Identity Revealed

   During Reiner and Bertholdt Reveal Themselves, the Colossal Titan is identified as the Titan form of Bertholdt Hoover. His transformation unleashes an immense blast accompanied by an overwhelming surge of scorching steam and heat that engulfs the surrounding area.

   The Explosion over Shiganshina

   After checking on Reiner and rejecting Armin's attempt to negotiate, Bertholdt transforms over Shiganshina District. The Colossal Titan's birth becomes an explosion that levels the surrounding streets, scatters the Survey Corps and leaves Hange's squad buried beneath the wreckage.

   Spent as Steam

   The Colossal Titan pours out enough heat to burn Armin Arlert alive, consuming its own muscle with every blast of steam. Fixed on Armin's apparently hopeless attack, it fails to notice that the hardened body at its feet is empty or that the Attack Titan has circled behind it.

   Passes from Bertholdt to Armin

   After Levi gives the surviving serum to Armin, the transformed soldier devours Bertholdt Hoover. The Colossal Titan passes to one of the children who watched it breach Shiganshina, ending Bertholdt's tenure and restoring Armin's human body.

   It Took the Harbour Off the Map

   For four years the transformation blast was something that happened to Shiganshina. In Liberio's harbour it happens to Marley: Armin goes up in the middle of the anchored fleet and the explosion alone erases the ships, the quays and the port. Then he steps on what is left to be sure.

   The Last One of All

   The final use of it is the one it was built for and never got: not a wall, not a harbour, but the Founder itself. Held up in the hands of the Titans that changed sides, Armin transforms inside Eren's body — and the blast that opened this story is the one that closes it.
