Profile
The officer at Magath's elbow: the man who reads the field, hands his commander the options and passes the orders down to the Eldians who will carry them out. He was born Marleyan, which as far as he is concerned settles the question of who is worth what.
The Charge He Formed Up
At Fort Slava he stands beside Magath reading the battle to him, and it is his voice that announces the armoured train bringing up the enemy's anti-Titan guns. He forms the Eldian Unit for the charge that is meant to stop it — a run across open ground that nobody expects to come back from, ordered on Eldians because Eldians are what the bullets are for.
He Laughed at the Boy Who Saved a Man
Wounded and being bandaged by Zofia, he turns on Falco Grice for dragging a dying enemy soldier back to the trench. When the rescued man works out who has been treating him and curses his Eldian saviours in his own language, Koslow laughs out loud. Later, watching Pure Titans rain onto the fort, he reminds the children that their ancestors invented this.
The Line of Broken Soldiers
Escorting the unit home into the internment zone, Falco asks him about a column of injured Eldians being led through the gate. They are shell-shocked men on their way to a hospital, he explains — soldiers who came back from Marley's wars with nothing visible wrong with them. Then he startles them where they stand, for his own amusement, in front of the candidates.
Kill It Now
With the guns finally telling against the Titan tearing up Liberio, he asks for the order to finish it: kill the thing and the threat from the island is over tonight. Magath refuses — the Titan is to be eaten, not shot. Koslow notes, correctly, that the Titan they are supporting does not look interested in eating anybody.
Killed on Wall Maria
In Shiganshina he mans the anti-Titan gun lashed to Pieck's Cart Titan and helps hold the top of Wall Maria against the soldiers coming over the parapet, firing on the Beast Titan between attacks. He is still at the gun when Mikasa Ackerman reaches the wall, and she kills him there.
